The special feature of this 3D printer is the ability to print workpieces with a continuous fiber inlay. The MarkTwo from Markforged offers the possibility to precisely adjust the course of the fiber inlay with its own web browser-based software “Eiger”.
The highly-accurate printer bed even allows the material to be changed during the process and printing to continue in the same place. This process can achieve a level of dimensional stability previously unattainable in FDM 3D printing and thus offers new application possibilities.
