To make it easier for visually impaired people to access art, the Kieler Kunsthalle and the “Anderssicht e.V.” have transformed selected works into STL files and printed them three-dimensionally with us. <\/p>\n
The main challenge in this exciting project was to select suitable works of art whose content had to be as clearly delineated as possible to make it easy to understand. It was also important to select the optimum image size for the touching hands.<\/p>\n
Alongside three other paintings for the time being, Ernst Ludwig Kirchner’s “Female Nude in a Tub” can now be explored in the Kunsthalle. By immersing yourself in the detailed worlds perceived in a different way, this is also an experience for sighted people.<\/p>\n
