Sculpting is a subtractive, manual process. In experimental work, the potential of digital production to expand artistic work was explored. The current state of the sculpture was documented using 3D scans. The digital object enabled further processing and reproduction using additive manufacturing. We experimented with a bronze PLA print and surface treatment. Furthermore, a bronze art casting was created for which a PLA print was used as a lost mold.<\/p>\n
