The robot arm “KR 200” from the manufacturer “KUKA” supports the start-up “BoardLab” in the production of its sustainable surfboards.
It has an impressive reach of 2.7 meters and a load capacity of 140 kilograms. He currently carries a milling spindle and can work out complex free forms. In the near future, it will also carry a laser tube to be able to cut large-format panels. In the medium term, he will have two “helpers” who will hold the board blank while he works on it.
